Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By subscribing to or using the services of Sydney Commercial Laundry Pty Ltd (“Sydney Commercial Laundry”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Sydney Commercial Laundry provides commercial laundry pickup and delivery subscription services for businesses in Greater Sydney. Services are provided on a subscription basis as described in the plan selected at the time of signup. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services with reasonable notice.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
• Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are not provided for unused portions of a billing period.
• If a payment fails, we will notify you and may suspend service until payment is resolved.
• Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

4. Service conditions

• You must provide accurate pickup location details and access information.
• Linen and items must be placed in the bags or containers we provide or specify.
• We are not responsible for items left in pockets or improperly sorted loads.
• Heavily soiled, contaminated, or hazardous items may be refused at our discretion.
• We will make reasonable efforts to meet scheduled pickup and delivery times but are not liable for delays due to circumstances outside our control (traffic, weather, etc.).

5. Liability

We take care with your items, but to the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Our liability for any lost or damaged item is limited to the reasonable replacement value of that item, capped at the value of one month's subscription.
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Australian consumer law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse our customer portal, submit false information, or use our services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conditions.

7. Intellectual property

All content on our website and portal, including text, design, and software, is the property of Sydney Commercial Laundry or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute it without our written permission.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
